Question: What could be better than getting to spend a gorgeous fall day outside on the trails at Caledonia State Park?
Answer: Raising over $3,300 for a great cause at the same time!
Big thanks to all the folks who came out to our first company trail race this past Sunday — You made our Difference in the Dirt Event a big success!

All proceeds from the race went to The A-T Children’s Project. Ataxia-telangiectasia, or A-T, is a rare genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a high rate of cancer. The A-T Children’s Project is a non-profit organization that provides support services and raises critical funds for researching and finding a cure for this devastating disease.
There were 140 runners, walkers and hikers who enjoyed the scenic 5k and Half Marathon courses through the park — complete with tree-lined paths, bridges, grassy meadows, stream crossings, and . . . .
Dun! Dun! Dun! . . . . Hills!

Congratulations to ALL our race participants for finishing the course!
Special Congratulations go to our Overall and Age Group Award Winners for being extra speedy!

A HUGE shout out to all our wonderful volunteers who spent countless hours preparing the course, cheering on participants, manning the water stations, making baked goods, serving post race food/drinks, and organizing all the details that went into making race day safe and fun for us all! YOU are the heart of what we do and we couldn’t do it without you! THANK YOU!
Linda and James from Appalachian Running Company. These two represented a total force of about 30 volunteers who made our race day a success!
